Compendium of Good Practices

PDF attachment: Compendium of Good Practices

As a product of project Strengthening the capacities of the non-governmental sector working in the field of the Roma community and the inclusion of Roma women in the work of NGOs in collaboration with the partner consortium, a collection of good practices was created with the title: Successful Approaches to Working with the Roma Community. The compenditu of Good practices i on hand as a free available source, here on this web page & the web pages of collaborating partner organisations.

We invite you to take a look at the English-language compendium, which contains carefully selected examples of good practice in working with the Roma community from different national contexts. The compendium provides further explanations on how these good practices or elements of them can be successfully transferred to other settings, allowing for the dissemination of knowledge and experience that is crucial for effective work with Roma communities.

The aim of the book is to strengthen the capacities of the non-governmental sector working in close cooperation with the Roma community and to contribute to improving their position in society. In it you will find methodological guidelines, concrete examples of projects and strategies that have proven successful. The aim is to encourage innovation and cooperation between the various actors working in this important field.

We believe that the Compendium will serve as a valuable tool for NGOs, local communities and all those working to better understand and integrate the Roma community into society. Together, we can create an environment where Roma voices are heard, their needs are recognised, and their active role in all aspects of society is strengthened. We invite you to join us in our quest for a fairer and more inclusive future
