You are cordially invited to a lecture by Isaac Blake, CEO of Romani Cultural & Arts Company, from Cardiff. Isaac Blake is a member of the British Roma and LGBTQIA+ communities and is active in the development of arts and performance programmes, particularly in the UK’s Roma communities. He is also a member of several committees and forums working to promote equality in the UK and Europe.
Isaac Blake will present the archive, which aims to document and share the stories of members of the Roma LGBTQIA+ community.These stories are an important contribution to understanding the roles and experiences of members of these communities within the wider social and cultural complexity of Roma life.The event is organised by EPEKA, in cooperation with Loli Luludi. The lecture will be done in english.
The event is cofunded by Office of the Republic of Slovenia for Youth, Ministry of Public Administration, Ministry of Culture and The European Union through the project Roumasoul.
